Forget-me-not (3) Oil paint on linen

Started this one over 6 months ago...it's become highly decorative and vaguely religious...think it veered away from a traditional portrait when i put the bird on the shoulder...it became more fun to paint as i went on with it and got a bit more likeness of the beautiful child........with thanks to the great photographer Sylwester Szymanski for his beautiful image...link below.
